Fusion Miles' album art: C/D?

I've heard people refer to the Bitches Brew and Live/Evil album packagings as abominations to the music and vision of Miles and co, as being better than the actual album itself, and everything in between. Are they hideous or glorious?

Yes, On the Corner is fair game for this thread.

One time, I was in the music store, and my friend came back to report to me that he saw they carried "the CD with the nipplin' native chick" I had in my collection. Guess which he meant!

Mati Klarwein (sp) who painted the covers of Bitches Brew and Live Evil, as well as Santana's Abraxas, died in the last couple months.

The cover for Agharta is gorgeous, though. And Pangaea ain't half-bad, either.

― Michael Daddino, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Isn't the cover of Pangaea just a blurry shot of him playing trumpet? Not a painting... and not that great.

― Sean, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Its a blurry something anyway.
