so who ya gunna call (excl.ghostbusters)?

ps by "ya" i mean me

mark s, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The bus company? If you don't know who they are, ring LT.

RickyT, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

YEah, you are lucky its a 38 cos a conductor will scoop it up and put it in his cubby hole. Then ring the bus garage and they will tell you if owt has been handed in (downside thopugh only when the bus conductor finishes his shift - likely not to be til late afternoon).

I lost my mobile phone on an N25 and have yet to bother replacing it.

I once left a piece of original Jack Kirby artwork on a train - and got it back from the Lost Property Dept. at Waterloo Station!

Andrew L, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Andrew, you HAVE to take care of those sorts of things. Phones are phones, but Kirby is 4EVAH.

Daver, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

oh for goodness sake it was on the kitchen table the whole time!

mark s, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i'm surprised it wasn't hanging from the .000003 penny nail you've got

Tracer Hand, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

But Mark, did you phone the bus company?...What if you now get someone else's property! It'd be a great premise for a spy novel!

jel --, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

actually it was tracer, you caught me in a comedy lie

jel i did phone em, but lost property isn't open till 9 o'oclock tomorrow luckily

mark s, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

or do you mean i'm in someone else's flat!! that'd be a great plot for a surrealist novel

mark s, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Andrew's Kirby artwork on someone else's table? And why's it lucky you haven't been able to phone the bus company? I'm confused.

Graham, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

well if i phoned and they said yes we have your keys here mr mark, then i must be in someone else's flat at the moment (dali-esque mayhem ensues)

mark s, Tuesday, 9 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

My mobile screen is broke. Apparently I was sitting on my mobile this friday. My ass is too phat for my mobile. heh.

nathalie, Wednesday, 10 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A surrealist spy novel!! Everyone has handle bar moustaches, and ride Penny Farthing bicycles!

jel --, Wednesday, 10 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Each time I see the thread title I think of Help! I'm A Fish! Thanks Mark!

Sarah, Wednesday, 10 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

round our neck of the woods there is nothing surreal about hadlebar moustaches and penny farthings.
