I think Pokemon and Hello Kitty are better cartoon deity's than Jesus. I'm not sure what their views on homosexuality and abortion are and I have a bit of a problem with their consumerist ideology, but I'm pretty certain no one has fought a war over either one which is something Jesus can't say.

I'm not sure about Hello Kitty's views on homosexuality or abortion either, but I know Badtz-Maru's got a manifesto kicking around somewhere on the interweb. I'd vote for him as the next US president if I could - he seems pretty badass. Hello Kitty seems like a smug lame-duck centrist with a comfy bourgeois lifestyle. She'd probably force us all to have tea parties every day or something. She's the kawaii equivalent of the Queen, as it were.

But Chococat, man. I'd worship Chococat. He's got this calm, Buddha-like aura to him.

And Jesus versus Godzilla would be good. I used to get told I looked like Jesus, years ago when I had long hair and a beard. Such comments have dried up since the shaven face and #1 haircut, strangely. I rarely get told I'm cute either, though it does happen occasionally. Not enough.
