Looking at the Onion website I see ad's for Newcastle Brown ale. Is this is a hip drink in the US now?

And what other British comestibles should we try to inflict on the US?

Billy Dods, Tuesday, 16 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

inflict ?!

*hic* Inflict my ass. We love that stuff. A variety of UK/Irish brews have been available in the States for quite a while. Besides Newcastle Brown, Samuel Smith has been showing up in increasing quantities, while Bass, Harp and Guinness have all been long established.

Don't forget Boddington's! Oh, and Belhaven, too.

mmmmmmmmm Boddington's! Is there a name for this type of beer, where it's all creamy and foamy like a stout? Good lord I'd like some quickstyle.

tracer it is advertised in the uk a trans-gender cow called graham, who in the v.first ads was fellated of the udders by a hot clubbin gal: final shot, she is wiping "cream" from her lips

this is TRUE and the entire nation will back me up!!

anyway, as to your question, you do the math...

It's name is Nitrokeg and mentioning a liking for it will get you instantly banished from CAMRA.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, brown ale, numnumnum. first thing i got pished on, and also (to me anyway) the most "beery" tasting beer around, don't know why. haven't had one for ages thinking abt it. also should be drank from HALF PINT GLASS, not pint glass (it ruins the taste FACT)
