I was gonna say - isn't this just one more way in which women are demonised for their sexuality? While at the same time never being allowed to climb outside the box of it?

But then again, maybe it's only women who get allowed the freedom to blog about their sexuality. Because let's face it, Louis got a much more massive public smackdown for writing about his sexuality on ILX than any woman who's ever done the same thing. About the witch-hunting, I feel like saying "Oh for gods sake, it's only sex, stop making such a big deal out of it!" It really bothers me the way women police other women in that way, though I understand the origins of it.

Mine own view is more along the line of... jaded middle aged woman who's just, well, *bored* of the emphasis placed on sex. I prefer reading blogs about a variety of subjects. But sex is like the lowest common denominator interest that everyone has, so everyone's interested in it, in a way that not everyone is interested in reading blogs about dronerock or particle physics or whatever.
