So where is everyone today? More interestingly, how many of ye are posting from the GXX post-code region? Heavy London bias?

Jeff W, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Are people worried in case they get stalked if they give their full postcode? Or is it a big concern that somebody'll find out that you're somewhere less hip than you'd like to be? Come on...

SW15 5RA. Live (and work, at the moment) there. later this evening I shall be going to the pub, also in SW15, where the residents of my block will rubber-stamp the purchase of the freehold from Wandsworth council. Hurrah!

Mark C, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

geeta, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to live in S10 Ambrose. Which bit are you in?

Anna, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to live in S40 and S41, Chesterfield should have it's own post code.

chris, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

geeta are there still t-shirts for sale that just read "02138"?? something about those t-shirts makes me violently annoyed.

Tracer Hand, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I’m in Leith, ancient port of Edinburgh: still full of narrow cobbled alleys where one can develop one’s Lurking Skills before applying them to ILE. Though as this is my fifth posting (albeit in seven months) I can’t claim to be full-blooded even in my lurking. Postcode EH6 – southern edge of Leith.

Rex, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Gee, Trace, could it be the smug navel-gazing inherent in deciding that an "02138" t-shirt is an acceptable thing to wear that was getting you down?

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

w3rd ned!

And indeed yowsa.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm in Hollywood, CA, USA. A block away from Hollywood and Vine and the Capital Records building. Across the street from the Hollywood Spa Private Men's Club. The two guys from Gus Gus are still here and now there's a new Icelandic fellow named Einar. But I don't think it's the Sugarcubes guy.

I wonder if anyone's ever really caught themselves a trick down on Sunset and Vine? It doesn't really seem like that sort of intersection.

Arthur, Wednesday, 17 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

In Melbourne. At work.

misterjones, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Cue Frank Muir joke: Charlton Heston? Sounds like a bus route.
I was born in N18 and lived the first eighteen years of my life at N18 1JJ, then moved to BS9 1JQ for three years and after a spell at OX1 4UX wound up here at OX1 4LX. Marlborough Road. My mother was born in a different Marlborough Road, in N22.
