Dark mirror of Best movie I own

Abbott loves her turtle (Abbott), Thursday, 18 September 2008 00:54 (seventeen years ago)

I voted 'The Wizard,' that thing is a piece of crap.

Abbott loves her turtle (Abbott), Thursday, 18 September 2008 00:55 (seventeen years ago)

what is your problem with wizards sir

no (stunzeed) LZD (deeznuts), Thursday, 18 September 2008 00:59 (seventeen years ago)

Abbott loves her turtle (Abbott), Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:05 (seventeen years ago)

Natural Born Killers

jed_, Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:07 (seventeen years ago)

The Langoliers? As in, that awful Stephen King made-for-TV movie starring Balki? Easily the worst.

lindseykai, Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:16 (seventeen years ago)

WORST and MOST AWESOMEST.

It is 2 VHS tapes, biggest-looking thing on the shelf.

Abbott loves her turtle (Abbott), Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:21 (seventeen years ago)

Well, when you put it that way...

lindseykai, Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:30 (seventeen years ago)

Natural Born Killer blows, very bad movie with Juliette Lewis saying in a very bad redneck accent that the Woody Harrelson character only beats her when she deserves etc. I'd also say the LOTR movies are turgid and overrated, but then the fanboys will start whining and try to have me permanently banned to Endor or Minas Tirith or something like that.

Vision, Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:32 (seventeen years ago)

I can see why NBK is polarizing but I think you totally misunderstood it.

Abbott loves her turtle (Abbott), Thursday, 18 September 2008 01:40 (seventeen years ago)

I voted the first LOTR, which put me to sleep in the theater back in high school.

ilxor, Thursday, 18 September 2008 07:32 (seventeen years ago)

third for me

but joy behar knew better (tremendoid), Thursday, 18 September 2008 07:39 (seventeen years ago)

grease 2 in a landslide, surely?

TOMBOT, Thursday, 18 September 2008 07:54 (seventeen years ago)

I voted 'The Wizard,' that thing is a piece of crap.

You stupid woman!

I LOVE THE POWER GLOVE...IT'S SO BAD

For what it's worth: any of those fucking Lord of the Rings films.

Natural Born Killers is one-stop shopping for the worst trends in 90's cinema, and of special nuisance to me b/c, having seen it, I can't help but hear an echo of Juliette Lewis's retard affectation in the distance when I listen to Cowboy Junkies' otherwise fine cover of "Sweet Jane." Rodney Dangerfield and Robert DJr were brilliant in it, though.

The Wizard will forever retain its classic status in my book, simply for capturing the middle-school zeitgeist with the big-screen unveiling of Super Mario Bros. 3. Also, I had a devastating crush on Jenny Lewis at the time. Actually, I still do.

Pillbox, Thursday, 18 September 2008 12:32 (seventeen years ago)

"NBK" for similar "worst trends in '90's cinema" reasons as the guy above.

The Plastic Fork (Pashmina), Thursday, 18 September 2008 12:38 (seventeen years ago)

I rented The Langoliers for a night in with a new girlfriend, it nearly ruined the relationship.
Worst film i have ever seen!

not_goodwin, Thursday, 18 September 2008 12:52 (seventeen years ago)

Exorcist.

DavidM, Thursday, 18 September 2008 13:59 (seventeen years ago)

Oh man, not goodwin, if someone showed me that on a first date I think I would fall in love with them! (Like my beau showing me drinking game for Hackers 2/the Kevin Mitnick story.)

Abbott, Friday, 19 September 2008 01:18 (seventeen years ago)

Gotta be Grease 2, but I was tempted by NBK.

Millsner, Friday, 19 September 2008 01:25 (seventeen years ago)

Third LOTR here, too.

so glitchy (kenan), Friday, 19 September 2008 01:30 (seventeen years ago)

Exorcist.

― DavidM, Thursday, September 18, 2008 9:59 AM (13 hours ago) Bookmark

Sir, please explain yourself: Legitimate beef or arbitrary sacred cow slaying? The reason I ask is that The Exorcist fucking rules. Perhaps you have the landmark original film confused with its comically dubious successor, Exoricst II - The Heretic?

Pillbox, Friday, 19 September 2008 03:50 (seventeen years ago)

Grease 2 is the only thing that cheers me up sometimes

– guys –

Abbott, Friday, 19 September 2008 04:03 (seventeen years ago)

guys

Abbott, Friday, 19 September 2008 04:04 (seventeen years ago)

I can see why any of these movies could be disliked.

Hardly anyone wants to sit all the way through Capturing the Friedmans. Not bcz it squicks them out, but bcz they fall asleep in the first 10 minutes.

Abbott, Friday, 19 September 2008 04:07 (seventeen years ago)

Hardly anyone wants to sit all the way through Capturing the Friedmans twice. Yes, because it squicks them out.

so glitchy (kenan), Friday, 19 September 2008 11:26 (seventeen years ago)

ed wood or interstella 555

broken_britan (special guest stars mark bronson), Friday, 19 September 2008 11:28 (seventeen years ago)

Oh to heck with you if you don't like Ed Wood.

"I see the usual cast of misfits and dope addicts are here."

Whose the 1 asshole for voted for All Dogs Go to Heaven?

Mordy, Saturday, 4 October 2008 01:03 (seventeen years ago)

It is a fucked-up movie but far, far from terrible.

Abbott, Saturday, 4 October 2008 01:05 (seventeen years ago)

Somewhere out there, in this very planet, there is someone who apparently thinks A Clockwork Orange is worse than Natural Born Killers.

Vision, Saturday, 4 October 2008 01:15 (seventeen years ago)

The Exorcist, A Clockwork Orange, the Svankmajer film. WTF guys. I haven't seen Grease 2, but the Langoliers is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Satisfied with the NBK placement.

circa1916, Saturday, 4 October 2008 05:41 (seventeen years ago)

The worst DVD I own is Rush Hour 3 :(

Autobot Lover (jel --), Saturday, 4 October 2008 10:31 (seventeen years ago)

Grease 2 is alright, you rockist fucks.

Poll Wall (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 4 October 2008 10:34 (seventeen years ago)
