No, really.

It's...amusing and lolz until the cat thumps its butt down at the end and the back legs go all kinds of wrong.

This thread makes me sad.

Hoepfully they find a home for it that's carpeted.

why are you guys sad, it's a little trooper. would you prefer they put the animal down due to a deformity? cheer up, it's an adorable cat who is happy with his weird little life and has been adopted by a nice family.

Look, when I worked on Madison Ave, I used to pass a woman walking a golden retriever that had had something happen to its face, the bottom jaw and part of the mouth were just...missing, as far as I could tell (it was hard to look too closely). Sort of like the cat with no face that was an ILX favorite for about five seconds two months ago. I'm glad that dog has a home, too, but it's difficult to look at without an initial feeling of wrong-ness.

Agreed, but when I see things like this (for ex. that dog on Oprah with no front legs who walked on his hind legs) I wonder if they won't wind up with painful orthopedic problems. But still, yay for kitty.

This is weird, I could have sworn I was reading an old thread. I thought we'd done this cat before, but maybe not! I think its cuet.

I think the cat's fine. I also find it a bit jarring but so long as they're taken care of, who cares?
