I

I...

No, really.

It's...amusing and lolz until the cat thumps its butt down at the end and the back legs go all kinds of wrong.

This thread makes me sad.

so glitchy (kenan), Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:26 (seventeen years ago)

Hoepfully they find a home for it that's carpeted.

Michael White, Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:27 (seventeen years ago)

why are you guys sad, it's a little trooper. would you prefer they put the animal down due to a deformity? cheer up, it's an adorable cat who is happy with his weird little life and has been adopted by a nice family.

The handicapped make me uncomfortable.

Look, when I worked on Madison Ave, I used to pass a woman walking a golden retriever that had had something happen to its face, the bottom jaw and part of the mouth were just...missing, as far as I could tell (it was hard to look too closely). Sort of like the cat with no face that was an ILX favorite for about five seconds two months ago. I'm glad that dog has a home, too, but it's difficult to look at without an initial feeling of wrong-ness.

Laurel, Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)

yeah but this is an adorable cripple.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)

And god help that girl in my building on crutches.

Laurel, Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)

Err, xp.

Laurel, Thursday, 18 September 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)

yeah this cat seems pretty content! I like how it plops down on its back legs.

crut (Curt1s Stephens), Thursday, 18 September 2008 22:41 (seventeen years ago)

would adopt

Jordan, Thursday, 18 September 2008 22:46 (seventeen years ago)

Couldn't you fit kitty with some wheels like they do with dogs?

Michael White, Thursday, 18 September 2008 22:54 (seventeen years ago)

cat is plenty happy there is nothing to be sad about or in other words "it is Margaret you mourn for"

J0hn D., Thursday, 18 September 2008 22:55 (seventeen years ago)

please stay tuned for more twee observations

J0hn D., Thursday, 18 September 2008 22:56 (seventeen years ago)

It's cute, not that weird.

felicity, Thursday, 18 September 2008 23:23 (seventeen years ago)

That cat should be in Cirque de Soleil.

this cat deserves medals and love.

Agreed, but when I see things like this (for ex. that dog on Oprah with no front legs who walked on his hind legs) I wonder if they won't wind up with painful orthopedic problems. But still, yay for kitty.

another regrettable cheesesteak (Jesse), Friday, 19 September 2008 04:24 (seventeen years ago)

This is weird, I could have sworn I was reading an old thread. I thought we'd done this cat before, but maybe not! I think its cuet.

Trayce, Friday, 19 September 2008 04:27 (seventeen years ago)

everybody winds up with painful orthopedic problems

TOMBOT, Friday, 19 September 2008 04:34 (seventeen years ago)

OTM! So cute at the end when a little puppy inside pokes it's paw out...

I think the cat's fine. I also find it a bit jarring but so long as they're taken care of, who cares?

hyggeligt, Friday, 19 September 2008 08:15 (seventeen years ago)

that dog is amazing! i like his climbing style.

Jibe, Friday, 19 September 2008 08:20 (seventeen years ago)

everybody winds up with painful orthopedic problems

heh. I expect joint pain and back problems by 40. I've been sitting in this chair WAYYYY too long.
