Where do you see yourself in a years time? Are you expecting big changes over the next 12 months or do you think everything will basically be the same?

brand spanking new answers

Penny Lane, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

oh thanks for TOTALLY BUMMING ME THE FUCK OUT.

Sorry. It wasn't supposed to be depressing.

Penny Lane, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

BIG BIG changes of all kinds.

electric sound of jim, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I went through a big change in the past month. I can't ever again expect what will happen to me in any period of time.

Brian MacDonald, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Probably being doing the same job but will be pretending not to panic because I will hopefully have soem exams coming up which I will be attempting to bullshit.

Pete, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't know and that's the problem. I don't even know where I'll be in two months at the moment.

Careers advisors are wasted on school children, housing advisors wasted on students.

Anna, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

In my California beach house, hopefully.

Career advisors & housing advisors. That's what ILE is for. Look how Tom, Garteh and Carsmile all found places to live - and Steve is in an interview right now due to our proddin'.

ANd anyway, you can use Uni career advisors for years after you leave. (Never did me any good).

Pete, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I've used my work e-mail too often on this board to ask you lot ...

Anna, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

That's what pseudonyms are for, duh. Post as "Nana" with all your dodgy work-related gripes.

Tom, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh yeah, me? Well, living in London and who knows, maybe doing something different in the job line too.

Tom, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

On O'Connell bridge sniffing glue trying to keep my kids under control...........I DON'T KNOW! This is like a monthly question or something. Probably sitting in one of the seats in this same library answering one of these and moaning about how next year I'll leave.

Ronan, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Look how Tom, Garteh and Carsmile all found places to live

um, except i didn't

gareth, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeh, but you're Gareth, they were talking about garteh. In one year I reckon I'll be shitting myself about a dissertation. However, I don't like thinking ahead. It always turns out weirder than might be expected.

alix, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I want enough money so I can get a taxi everywhere. Fuck buses, I hate them.

DG, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

DG hears N25

gareth, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

er, i mean, DG hearts N25

gareth, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, let's see. I'm just coming to the end (I hope) of an acrimonious divorce after 23 years with one woman. I've been suffering big time from clinical depression for a few years. This has meant that I've missed quite a lot of work, so I'm on a final warning - much more sickness and I'm sacked. I have to sell the house as part of the divorce settlement and find somewhere else. So divorce, moving house, probably the sack plus clinical depression. I think death is the odds-on option here.

Martin Skidmore, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Martin that sounds just awful, I'm really sorry.

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Eeg, yes. So much for fun (and best wishes for Martin with all that, what a horrid situation).

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 18 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
