It's still Autumn down here. So I'm not gonna clean a dang thing

I actually just came in from pulling weeds. I smell like onions and sweat. Maybe that's why I haven't had a date in a while.

Hi Gale!

Hi! It's good to see you back. I cleaned my room today (mostly) and it took two hours.

I have this compulsive disorder where I am constantly cleaning - especially...don't laugh...picking hair off my carpets and putting it in a nearby trash bin. I am a little obsessive I think. I organize and reorganize all the time...so spring really doesn't have much to do with it. ^_^ It's clean all the time if I can help it.

YES!! Well, sort of. It's still at the tidying stage: no mops have been picked up.

Blimey I've just noticed a bumblebee which is nearly as big as that fat cat my robot is fighting, so I'm going to post this and go open a window.

Urk. I have done something that deserved being pointed at and laughed at. I have agreed to pay for a cleaner to do the house! One flatmate unhappy with the level of cleanliness from all 3 of us, so she has arranged for someone to 2-3 hours every other week. sheesh. i'm the man my mother warned me i'd become. except not.

mark s, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Everything gets dusty too quickly to bother.

It will be better if cleaner is called GUNTHER. What IS this 'cleaning' of which you speak?

Sarah, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

mark s, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I hoovered my room the other day! For the first time in about 5 months! And I wiped a tissue over the TV screen as the dust was impacting on my viewing pleasure. I suppose that counts as spring cleaning.

Emma, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

yes but katie she had the power of servants

and what do you call RickyT and Aubrey, eh? *cackles evilly*

katie, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Alan Trewartha, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes but then there would be fingerprints impacting on my viewing pleasure.

Emma, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Pete, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I've always found "rack and pinion" to be a filthy expression. prob why i love the n american slang "rack"

Alan Trewartha, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

My room smells disgusting, but I only ever use it for sleeping so I don't really care. And yes the weather here is fantastic.

Ronan, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

We cleaned the house inside and out before that there party last week, only of course to have it get messy again. Merrily, most of that is now cleaned up too and we now live a life of peace and merriment.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Mark with your bumblebees and your constant spiders: do you live in the jungle?

Bitsuh, Friday, 19 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

well yes, now you come to mention it the weather has been uncharacteristically good and yes, i have been doing quite a lot of cleaning. being a gentleman of leisure i really ought to live in a spotless house, we haven't been able to use the living room since christmas. i hadn't thought of my current drive as spring cleaning per say, more as a concerted effort to get of my ass and start doing something with my life. even made a guitar stand today, productivity being at an all time high.
