Intrade Betting is Suspicious
What's a little weird, however, is that this rouge trader is not only selling Obama contracts and buying McCain contracts .... they also seem to be buying Hillary Clinton contracts

i don't see why John McCain would pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate. He is a Republican. and she is demo crat. I also heared he already pick as running mate.

This rumor is so much kibbles and bits in my opinion. Something to stir up the easily stirred.
Palin was given the veep candidacy by a vote of the delegates to the national Republican Party convention. McCain only proposed her nomination. I wonder what the bylaws of the party have to say about replacing a candidate? I doubt it would be simple.
Plus, in a lot of states the ballots are already printed or being printed in the next couple of weeks. Changing the ballots is a quickly vanishing option.

95% of me classifies this with the Obama/Bayh bumper stickers. But I expect even weirder things to happen between now and Election Day.

NY Times confirm.
― the missing boy (Euler), Friday, 26 September 2008 01:36 (seventeen years ago)
If this were to happen, which I doubt, it would reflect very badly on both of them. He'd come across as flaky with poor and unpredictable judgement. She'd be seen as either desperate for power and so unprincipled that she'd switch sides, then she'd have to spin her way out of backing Obama at the Democrat convention.

It doesn't matter what party you belong to, this is hilarious. From a show on Canadian TV, there was a comedian who said he misses Bill Clinton.
"Yep, that's right, I miss Bill Clinton! He was the closest thing we ever got to having a black man as President. Number 1 - He played the sax. Number 2 - He smoked weed. Number 3 - He had his way with ugly white women.
Even now? Look at him .... his wife works, and he doesn't! And he gets a check from the government every month.
Chrysler Corporation is adding a new car to its line to honor Bill Clinton. The 'Dodge Drafter' will be built in Canada.
When asked what he thought about foreign affairs, Clinton replied, "I don't know, I never had one."
The Clinton revised judicial oath: "I solemnly swear to tell the truth as I know it, the whole truth as I believe it to be, and nothing but what I think you need to know."
Clinton will be recorded in history as the only President to do Hanky Panky between Bushes!
― and what, Friday, 26 September 2008 17:27 (seventeen years ago)
okay that last line is about as unsavory as it gets
