As I think I have mentioned (confessed?) more than once here, I currently work for a bank, which feels very soul-stealing sometimes. I used to have the horrible (and quite dangerous when considering my smallish girlness) job of emptying the hot oil from, and scrubbing down massive fish fryers, because I'd just left home and truly needed a job. Any honest job. Definition of honest: as anything that doesn't hurt others to a degree that would keep me from sleeping.

I have never sold any of my art. I might tho...

when I was 20, pushing trolleys, and watching fireworks go up over brisbane river, I realised that 13 years of educaation were going to go to waste unless I got off my metaphorical butt, started writing again, and went back to uni. I was an isnurance clerk for 6 weeks also
