Best - Craven Cottage, one of the few that still has character.

Worst - any one of the big identikit stadiums like the Riverside or Reebok.

Of the ones I've been to, I'd go for Anfield, because it's so hemmed-in and intimate, both inside and outside - you can actually imagine meaningful things happening there

Worst - St. James's Park. Being stuck up in the gods, hundreds of yards from the tiny pitch, without any atmosphere reaching you because it's so open, is no fun whatsoever

Yeah Craven Cottage is really nice

The Emirates looks good but is kind of cavernous and sterile, and although the seats are ridiculously large and comfortable it feels wrong having to take four or five steps to hug someone when Philippe Senderos lashes the ball into his own net

Also, the positioning of the away fans makes them a prime target for coins thrown by thin-skinned home fans who remain unconvinced that Eduardo's tragic death was a suitable object for humour

Also, off topic:

Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has started supporting Millwall and hopes to fly in from Los Angeles to attend the Lions' next home game against Leeds. (Daily Telegraph)
