Never mind what you had for lunch, what did you have for tea?

I had chicken soup, Cornish wafers with butter, some coffee, a jammy dodger, some kind of chocolate creme biscuit, a bourbon, and a custard cream, then a wheat/oat/raisin cake-y thing.

Puy lentils with grilled halloumi, tomatoes, red onion, green beans, garlic, lots of lemon juice and coriander all mixed together. Then strawberry cheesecake Ben & Jerrys.

you had some coffee with your tea?

old school McVities digestives is what I had with my tea - and not the chocolatey Hob Nobs, but the old school digestive wafers. Which I dunked.

I forgot what time tea happens? Some of this seems a lot for a snack when another meal is yet to happen.

Tea = 4pm

Though, there are some who say tea instead of dinner, and I believe that tea is between 6 and 7. The tea at 4 to which I refer, is more of a "high tea".

For my tea, being a southerner, I had scones with strawberry jam, I have this or hot cross buns most days.

By "tea" I mean "dinner"/"evening meal".

Coffee and some oreos. If by "tea" I can mean "midafternoon coffee."

I ate an oreo yesterday, they are very sweet.

I like Oreos - they've only recently been widely available in the UK. They are a lot more dark chocolatey than I thought they'd be.

I missed them while traveling last year and, when I actually found them in grocery stores some places, decided to put off buying them so I could look forward to it when I got home. Now I am addicted, but hopefully the thrill will wear off soon.
