so, i'm stuck in Stockton, CA for about another month and i plan to tour CA's gold mining country (which isn't far from here). i've got a tour guide so i have a rough idea about what some of the big sites are (like Nevada City, stuff along Rte. 49 etc.). but any advice from locals or folks who have been in this part of the world would be very welcome!
