So, last night I went out to see "The Scorpion King". High emotional drama, it doesn't have:> The Rock won't be doing "King Lear" anytime soon. Still, it's mindcandy for 2 hours.

Anyone else see this masterpiece;>?

As it turned out, I didn't go see this this weekend. We were too busy sitting around the house feeling broke. Then a friend from high school took me out to dinner. YAY!

Of course, this just means that we'll be going to see it this upcoming weekend instead. I was looking forward to this movie; why does MISPLACED SPOUSAL LUST have to ruin everything???

I saw it. Eye-candy it is. I expected mindless entertainment and that's exactly what I got. I was a little disturbed at The Rock's eyebrows; they're so obviously plucked and shaped that I found myself staring at them instead of the lavish sets.

Sean, I was having a good look at the biceps. It seemed to me that the Rock was the only (male) toned muscle in the film. A friend I was with was in rapture, but I kept waiting for those arrows to bring him down.....
