Gimpo was actually a roadie for KLF, they just asked him to use a video camera to shoot them burn the money. I saw the movie at a local movie festival in 1996, Gimpo was there as a guest to answer questions by the audience. He told us he had no idea beforehand what was gonna happen, Cauty and Drummond just told him they were gonna do some kind of performance, and he should come and shoot it. At one point in the movie he leaves the camera on its tripod, walks in front of it, picks up a fat bundle of pounds, looks at it for a while, and then throws it into the fire. He told us that while he was holding bundle, he thought to himself, "if I'd just nick this, I could buy half an apartment in London with it". But then he was like, "naah!", and threw it in.
