Going to Premier League games...

How do you actually get tickets? Is it even possible for non-members? Would love to see some games, between any teams really, but not sure where to start.

It's easier than you think. Some teams like Blackburn, middlesbrough, even man city almost never sell out. For any team other than the big four, you should be able to get tickets even at reasonably short notice just by phoning or going through the website (maybe not if they're playing against a big side though). Even for Liverpool you can get tickets by phoning on the morning of public sale - but I'm not sure that the other three have public sales as such (arsenal did against hull recently, but that's unusual)

It's not actually particularly difficult outside the big four, and even then if you're quick on your feet it's possible. Find out when tickets go on sale and buy them immediately.

So tickets actually do go on public sale? I had a look at West Ham and it seemed it was some sort of members only scheme, or members first then "in unlikely event any tickets are left" there was a public sale.

Even Hull, with 90-odd percent of the home allocation being season tickets, puts a couple of thousand on public sale for each game. You have to be quick tho.

You could always turn up an hour early and ask around for spare tickets. I've paid on the gate at West Ham before, though that was in the first division (West Brom coming back to win from 3-0 down!). It was also at the away end, which is much more fun - might be a good option against some northern sides

As per those links, Spurs and Fulham seem quite easy to get tickets for. Certainly at Celtic you can usually get guys selling spares outside the ground - supporters buses get an allocation and they don't always use all of them, which accounts for a fair whack of the guys with spares - I imagine it to be similar for English Premier League games.

Best bet is to decided who you want to go and see, then look at their website. No club is 100% season-ticket holder, though the bigger ones appear to have a subscription service for non-season-ticket-holders to get first refusal on public sales.
