goole, Monday, 20 October 2008 18:10 (seventeen years ago)

matt is this your college friend?

Back in college...
when I visited the girls dorm we used to put Jolly Ranchers in Zima to give it some flavor.

s1ocki, Monday, 20 October 2008 18:12 (seventeen years ago)

haha no, i hadn't heard about the jolly rancher technique. he was a skittles loyalist.

also, i'm sure this death will render yet another simpson's gag incomprehensible to future generations.

Outlasted Miller Clear by a dozen years or so. I guess Crystal Pepsi still exists in some form?

It reminds me of red bull in that they both taste of that weird orange-y cough syrup that I can't recall the name of.

Nicole, Monday, 20 October 2008 18:47 (seventeen years ago)

my only regret is not being born early enough to enjoy original zima

burt_stanton, Monday, 20 October 2008 18:52 (seventeen years ago)

Thanks, Jon!

Man, I didn't know Red Bull was not being made anymore! I remember so many peeps in the junior high era with faded-ass bleach-stained Red Dog shirts. Red Dog gives you wangs!

Abbott, Monday, 20 October 2008 21:47 (seventeen years ago)

Oh man, one of the first times I ever drank any alcohol was when during recess I found a six-pack of Zima next to some used condoms in the parking lot. Some other kids dared me to drink some and I accepted the challenge by taking a few swigs. That incident haunted me through all of middle school.

RIP

Dude, do they still make Red Dog?

burt_stanton, Monday, 20 October 2008 22:52 (seventeen years ago)

don't know if red dog is still around.

another drink that was on hit legit for underage drinking in MN back in the day was this gross ass grape wine cooler shit that you got in 2 liter bottles called "Purple Passion" but I cannot seem to find anything about it on the internet.

M@tt He1ges0n, Monday, 20 October 2008 22:54 (seventeen years ago)

Red Dog most definitely still exists. The corner store stocks it in the Colt .45/Mad Dog section.
