old movie press kits found in my office

we've been going through some old boxes... shit some of this stuff is DECADES old.

- fish called wanda
- city slickers (1!)
- the commitments
- etc!

i kinda wanna scan some of this stuff in... so many 8x10s from the days when people actually sent in real photos instead of jpgs!

for some reason i find this stuff kinda fascinating, like old historical documents... like where else does this stuff exist anymore, and yet it was so much a part of marketing these huge movies. just found dances with wolves!

there were some pretty good old press kits I found when working at my college paper. I found one for Ghost Dad that I wanted to steal.

Heaven's Prisoners -- that film was so bad. I had to review it for our uni newspaper. I still remember the most priceless bit of dialogue, presumably meant to make the hero and villain sound tough:

"You gotta keep fucking in the same direction!"
"Yeah, but that's a two-way street!"

hahaha!

I have a ton of 1990s/early 2000s press kits, mostly music but some movie-related. All have nice, showy folders and/or some sort of flashy design. Most with photos. Are these puppies worth anything/the trouble of ebaying or whatever?
