Yes, the most LATE NOTICE EVAH! We are showing Tom where he will be living with us (heheheheheh HEH HEH etc) tonight and then going for a drink! Where we will be, will be, the Glasshouse Stores on Brewer St, from about 6ish. Do come and talk about our house! Alternatively hopes for the Irish Football Anthem, 'A House'.

Sarah, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My guts are shrieking etc etc.

Sarah, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Unfair. I can't teleport over there that quickly. *mopes*

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Slacker.

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

gareth, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Irish Footballers are quite useless according to Oscar Wilde.

A House, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The last time WILL NOT HAPPEN AGANE. (It can't).

Sarah, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Why the fuck do you keep going there Gareth? Are you trying to pick up Swedish backpackers or something?

RickyT, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

yes...

gareth, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ah, OK then. Sorry, that was a bit harsh.

RickyT, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

sarah check your work email

alix, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

actually thats not really the reason to be honest. was in the enterprise at chalk farm, then just went in goodmixer for last one before getting 253 home

gareth, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Slacker.

Go farm your mullet.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Brewer street means you can load up on pokemon flavour chocolate flled biscuits, or alternaively the cheapest and best conveyor belt sushi in london.

Ed, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hoy hoy - it SOAS quiz nioght tonight. Come here come here for 6:30. I don't reckon there will be many punters see.

Pete, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I fear I may have seen this thread a smidgeon too late. I might try your mobile Sarah. Knackers, don't have the number.

Pete, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I need to contact her too. Fuck. I can mail you her number, if you want?

alix, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Has the Enterprise got any decent bitter on nowadays? I used to drink in there a fair bit, but the loss of nice beer has kind of reduced its attraction.

RickyT, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Please Lixi. It'd be nice to see the gang over here if they want to see people.

Pete, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

You have narrowly avoided a cross-continental smiting by delighting me with the creation of the term "mulletfarmer".

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

(Um, that was in response to Ned, of course. Damn context...)

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Mulletfarmer is indeed a lovely term, now that you mention it! We have a new meme.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

first time i'd ever been in the enterprise, its ok, not great beer though.

i shall probably make it, but may be later on (like that makes a difference i'm always late anyway...)

gareth, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

have a top time all of you, sorry i can't make it this time!

katie, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Jesus why can't they shut Tower Records at a civilised hour.

Tom, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

So you bought the rest of U2's catalogue, did you?

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 24 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sorry if I was unduly incoherent at anyone last night; the beer affected me rather more than it usually does.

RickyT, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tower should have staff who realise these things. "Sir I think that's enough U2, you don't understand......"

Ronan, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

No actually. I bought some quite good things but far too many and not very economically:

Carter USM - 30 Something - this is the only one I would probably have not bought sober, I would have bought it but second hand for 50p somewhere. Only good when drunk but I knew that anyway.

Chic - C'Est Chic - most annoyed by this one, yes it's a superb album but I have it on vinyl and my vinyl version has MORE tracks though a few are scratched. So this one might go back to Tower and I'll look for a better LP copy.

Beastie Boys - License To Ill - never actually owned this, I have a shitty taped copy somewhere. Their only good album though I'm not sure when I'm going to want to listen to it.

Happy Mondays - Squirrel And G-Man.... - prompted by 24 Hour Party People, sounds good so far, Gareth why do you keep going on about Bummed and not this?

Teena Marie - 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection - fantastically pompous title! Not 'the metal years', not played yet, looking forward to it.

Mum - Yesterday Was Dramatic, Today Is OK - played it last night and it sounded really good.

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh yeah sorry for not saying goodbye, I wandered into the toilets for a piss at the end of the evening and then lost you all. Good night, good fun etc., see you Friday for you-know-what.

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Their only good album though I'm not sure when I'm going to want to listen to it.

Aw.

geeta, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ug. Booze wool etc. Sorry I didn't get any of your messages til too late chapZoR - I had to leave work earlier than usual to get to Oval but things worked out alright in the end. Ptee how crowded was SOAS as that was the main reason we didn't go there - that and it being a hole of course.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i can't make you know what on friday. there MUST be more and soon.

Ptee! I forgot to bring up Night Heron. Still wanna go? Nobody else I know is interested (they won't take me seriously cos of the JS obsession).

Alan Trewartha, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I don't think I can either make the You Know What.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

yeh, was quite a good night, considering i was slightly 'under the weather'. tom, i think bummed and squirrel and g-man are as good as each other, sometimes i prefer one, sometimes the other...

gareth, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Whaaaaat? Come on Starry why not?

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Prior date with a Moomin/Buffy - also Tom I am approaching DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE! levels of spending and booze saturation.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

It does seem to be a really good album.

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

That was the reason I was desperately trying to get you down SOAS. It is now exam season and its sunny so everyone sits outside so no fucker was there (except the scary mad bloke who the police who are after who told me he was going to kill me). Only seven teams....Prize haul was 19 pounds.

Pete, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ah well, in 2 weeks I will be a Londoner so you'll see me every quiz night I expect.

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But would we be allowed to win?!

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tom you would not be allowed to enter due to groke conflict of interest.

Emma, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yes, you would be allowed to win. That was a one off decision i needed to make - and I made the wrong one that night both alienating good, dear friends and people who wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire.

Pete, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

There is a very annoying woman talking loudly on the computer next to me. I just wanted to say that. Shutup blond cow.

alix, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Alix are you one of those people who's harder on the interweb, like N.?

Tom, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hello Lixi do you have our council tax number on you as I do not have it and need it to PAY IT. Like now. Sigh. Grrr. Morons.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Absolutely. If you're too shat up to say something in reality, say it online.

alix, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Not with me I am afraid. Will be home in a few hours, and will ring you then.

alix, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh! They are not such morons and managed to give it to me! Yay! I wish I could remember how much I am suposed to pay them though.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

SIGH and now they are saying there is no student discount and I am being transferred all over the place sigh back to the enquiry line I go... *sob*

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

PAID! YAY! I now no longer will have any money to come to the pub evah again.

Sarah, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sarah, this just means that your lovely mates are honor-bound to BUY YOU PINTS.

Dan Perry, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

we are SO not: we are british => perfidious albion

mark s, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Did you get pokemon biscuits?

Ed, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Christ no Lixi is much harder in real life. Have you ever been PUNCHED by her?

Ally C, Thursday, 25 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have! It felt like a kiss though.

N., Saturday, 27 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

That wasn't a punch, N. It was more a slap. Ally, I have never hit you. Have I? Have I?
