Maryland Transportation Authority Police making a routine traffic stop on Interstate 95 recovered 69 pounds of high-quality marijuana and arrested a New Jersey driver.

Sabina Woodrick, 31, of East Orange, N.J., was driving a rented Chevrolet Impala when she was pulled over for speeding about 10 a.m. Tuesday on northbound I-95 in Baltimore County, police said.

A search found the marijuana, valued at nearly $152,000, police said. The drugs were obtained in Florida, police said.

Woodrick has been charged with possession of a large amount of marijuana with intent to distribute and lesser charges, police said. She is being held on $250,000 bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

My new car has cruise control and I've found that it's awesome for those long rural stretches of highway that are so great for getting pulled over on.

You'd think that criminals would have caught on to this benefit by now.

I can't handle long journeys without it. And by long journeys I mean over 20 miles of motorway. I imagine huge stretches of interstate highways would be terrible without CC.

I was very disappointed when that story of the guy who gets up to get a coffee after putting his winebago into cc and then sued the company when he crashed was an urban myth.

pretty dumb for a movie to be called "cruise control" when it's involving a boat commandeered by terrorists. dumber still for the boat in question to be a cruise ship. under siege is superior in that the boat taken over was a destroyer and there's a scene where seagal rips a guy's throat out.

Cruise control is fine for long trips through places that are FLAT.

Otherwise, it kills your car to have to suddenly vrroom itself just to keep that 72 mph speed up a hill.

Long trips and Belgium: not possible. hah

I actually think it's great for hills. Keeps you from having to re-gauge your speed all the time. Provides just enough oomph to get you up.
