"Dick in a Box" does indeed have nothing to do with sophistication. Good catch there.

But it's not some big original concept either. What's funny about it is the details that are observant of a very specific time that was a good while ago, but not a LONG time ago. If you don't get the details, then I guess you won't think it's very funny.
