I have always hated this song, it's so awful yet so catchy so it ends up stuck in your head. Like now, since you've brought it up again. :(

I love The Music Man. I hate the shit out of this song. Everything about it is appalling.

I agree. That song is the one thing I really hate about the Music Man.

For years I thought I really, really hated The Music Man, to the point where I refused to audition for it when we did it in high school. Recent years have made me realize it's mostly just this fucking song (although "Gary, Indiana" isn't really doing the show any favors, either).
