I'll say yes, what the heck. My brother and parents voted for O. My parents say that even in Cobb County lines for voting have been horrendously long. I have a friend from hs who is voting McCain but he's a more typical East Cobb kid, the sort you'd expect to go Republican.

I'm more concerned about Jim Martin winning GA Senate seat though, because Obama doesn't need GA to win. (and if Chambliss is out then hopefully the fairtax will be a dead issue to my mother)

Can't speak for Jesse, but what makes *me* happy and optimistic after viewing that clip is that it suggests that some people are starting to see through the smokescreen of irrelevant semiotic/demographic warfare that the G.O.P. uses to get rural whites to vote against their own class interests.

I am still aglow. It's pieces like this that keep me from saying "Fuck the South." There's nothing wrong with being a redneck, having an accent, and being countrified, but too often that goes hand-in-hand with being hateful, willfully ignorant, and racist. This guy dared to use his brain.
