Thinking about going to see him speak on Sunday. Not extremely familiar with his work. Might want to read or skim something before I go. Any suggestions?

"free culture" is well worth looking at. i was going to say something about lessig's prose being a little dull cause he's a law prof but don't you work a legal journal? so that shouldn't be a problem (or maybe it's a big problem) he's got a lot to say about copyright law. anybody in the information or content-providing or whatever you want to call it should read "free culture." lessig's pretty good on the decline of the music business, too.

The slight stiffness of his written prose seems to disappear when he's speaking in public, if the video I've seen is anything to go by. He makes his points with humour and well chosen examples, and, if I recall correctly, he had the audience laughing and even cheering occasionally.
