I can't decide whether the over-acting is worse than the under-acting. The mother versus the blonde. What amazing dialogue and dodgy soap-opera plotting. Cutting It is terrible but I will have to watch next week to see how bad it can get. Can U Dig It?

As bad as Ted and Alice?

Matt Fallaize, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I object. Cutting It is fan fucking tastic. It is not meant for boys.

It's shite. TV is usually shite though, so why am I surpiserd? I can't be bother to spell that last word there.

OK then it is not meant for boys & hippies. Ha ha.

(Eventually I will have narrowed it down so much that it wil only be meant for the demographic that is me).

Emma, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The demographic of Penny Junor lookalikees?

Pete, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

No Pete for as anyone with eyes can see I look nothing like her.

Here's a boy (well, middle-aged man) who's loving it nearly as much as he expected to, once he saw there was a new series coming from the wondrous Debbie Horsfield. This is the woman who wrote Making Out and The Riff-Raff Element, among other things. And a good one with Billie Whitelaw as an old jogger, and the chip shop rock 'n' roll extravaganza most recently. She is a wonderful writer, everything that we can only dream of Coronation Street ever being. How much mainline TV drama writing has had this wit and energy?

one year passes...
It's back tomorrow! Hurrah!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 5 May 2003 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

And yet I can't remember what Ted and Alice was about.

Matt (Matt), Tuesday, 6 May 2003 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

two people called Ted and Alice, presumably

Matt (Matt), Tuesday, 6 May 2003 00:02 (twenty-two years ago)

fifteen years pass...

When she married Eddie (Giuntoli), he was a successful musician. But now that she’s the sole provider, Katherine is the one who has to be the rock star.
