I want to go to brighton with you people and then when we are back in london have a pub meet. Who wants to go to brighton. London is only a week away. Suzy ? Tom ? STarry Sarah ?

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I am keen to go to the pub and we should get this sorted out. Does anyone fancy Trig Brother II? Brighton less so, I doubt I'm going to have time.

Tom, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

bububub but its got the pavilion

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Anthony you can go to Brighton on your own - it's very near!

Tom, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll be in Brighton on the 15th, but at the Races not down by the beach or the stinky Pavilion.

Pete, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I've never been to Brighton and wouldn't mind but I dunno if I would have the finances/time! The pub however is a very good idea especially if we get a lovely sunny day like last times Trig Brother. 11th of May though is taken for me due to POKEMON MUSICAL!

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Brighton beach is covered in horrible pebbles. Yuck.

Emma, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I think a Brighton day out is a great idea and I go there lots but May is getting busier and busier by the day.

Tom, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

WHY DO YOU ALL MOCK MY ATTEMPTS TO HAVE FUN. I HATE YOU. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS SEE THE NASH PAVILLON AND THEN GO TO THE ARCADES AND MAYBE HAVE FISH AND CHIPS. WOULDN'T THAT BE FUN! BUT NO, YOU ARE ALL TOO COOL FOR IT

*pouts*

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

learnedeverythingheknowsaboutUKfromWhomovie, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

If you want to come over again you can come and see Fatboy dj with me on Brighton beach, I think it's free too.

Ronan, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Well in the middle of the day there is a little beach on the Thames by the South Bank where you can find ancient artifacts from the 1300s or something. Many of them actually. I do not think you are actually allowed down there but people walk their dogZoR there sometimes! That is a beach! And then you can go to Fishco by Waterloo! And I am sure there are pavillions in Lunding. I would like to go to Brighton but then again I would also like a) a new job b) some burgundy and mature cheddar crisps and c) A PONY none of which look forthcoming so I am used to disappointment grr.

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

there is your pony sarah

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

NB not a cockney rhyming slang 'pony'.

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

what is a cockney pony

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Well of course there are two different cockney ponys Sarah could be talking about. The amount of money or rhyming slang "Pony & Trap".

Pete, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes Pete but only one of those is rhyming slang innit? The other is just general slang.

Emma, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The rhyming slang one needs to make a return.

Tom, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

FISHCO IS NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would like to go to Brighton but I am scared of meeting people if it is just me and no other people I know. Anyway, you probably don't like me, Anthony.

alix, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

what would give you that idea ? I lurve you alix

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

WOT has Fishco shut?! I must sa that the last couple of times I went there their chips weren't as good as they used to be. This makes CAMDEN FISH MARKET the number one London chippy hoorah cheers cheers.

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I just assume that about people who haven't met me. And about those who have met me. It's my brain. It's all wrong. More booze needed.

alix, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I wurve Alix, as well she kno. Sorry Anthony, Brighton beach days must be arranged after 30th May so I can attend.

Graham, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

mmm but anthony if you go to Brighton the U&K thing to do is SHOPPING yaaayyyyy Vegetarian shoe shop Infinity Foods Secondhand bookshops GUITAR shops mmmmm HERE I COME!!! i think it'd be nice if a gang of us had a wander down there. chips on the pebbly beach = classic if it's a nice day. not too sure about the pavillion but we can always split up and meet again later!

katie, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It also has some very good record shops. Archel to thread!

MarkH, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Also see this A List of Brigton record stores

DJ Martian, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

MarkH is right. Especially, do please patronise Bang Music on Bond Street, as long as you are not a numetal-buying French teenager, or you will incur the wrath of the normally mild-mannered (and generally wonderful) Matt...

Archel, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

My Indieist side wuvs Edgeworld Records. Loads and loads of vinyl singles.

RickyT, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

do please patronise Bang Music on Bond Street

I'm sure Bang Music is a very lovely little shop.

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

(see what I did there???)

Sarah, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ho Ho! And lo! Archel walked into the joke as if t'were a widely gaping door.

Archel, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

So is this happening, do people really want to go, cause i am excited if it happens.

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

So is it ?

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

anthony, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

di, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Kewl. :-)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Brighton is fabulous although Fish and Chips are better in Hastings, or for that matter in Media Vale, Theobalds Rd or Dalston.

Ed, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

well can you come ed , we can have other food

anthony, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

DOES NOT COMPUTE

Graham, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
