Celebrity Sleepover: Not content with having their personal opinions prized on pointless nostalgia shows, D-list celebrities are now deemed interesting people to be around. There's a similar show on MTV, where fans get to meet their idols, but who the fuck idolises Vanessa Feltz? Message to society: Forget real-life friends, TV presenters are there for you now. It's scarily close to being Brass Eye, like Bruno Brookes thinking the kids care about what he says.
And pretty much any other recent BBC "light entertainment" show.

Both shows tried to show the "real" celebrity. CBB was great because it did it in almost pure form (live CBB would be the greatest show ever). Celebrity Sleepover's premise was that a tiny glimpse into a very minor sleb's real life was still something special. It was like a relic from the past, where any level of fame was something people respected. It just seemed so...pathetic.
