I was told that some local Glasgow politician was attempting to ban the stuff a few years ago on the grounds that it turned all who drank it into violent salivating roustabouts.

He dropped the idea when informed that the Buckfast had nothing to do with it.

Yeah I think it does. Red bull being 80mg per 250ml and Buckie being more than 90mg iirc.

Fucking brilliant stuff. Has to be well chilled though.
