You are having too much fun without me

Well, I am here, admittedly, heart-attack suffering pilots aside. Whee! Thank god for archives, I'll trawl through them as I can later -- which leads me to my actual question if it hasn't been asked: when you're away from ILE or ILM for a bit, do you obsessively go back and check every thread you might have missed?

And speaking of missing out on threads, what the hell is this 'Summarize Me' thread and how come I can't find it?

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 29 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

So all the other wedding guests are dead drunk or bed-hopping, eh, Ned? (Or was that all days ago and on another continent? I forgot to memories yr schedule...)

Summarise Me is abt 25 or 30 down-thread on New Answers. You're obviously squiffy.

i don't read every thread even when i'm online regularly.

sundar subramanian, Sunday, 29 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Squiffy???!?!?!

Dave M., Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ned, maybe it's an 's'/'z' thing.

Nick, Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Zquiffy?

nathalie (nathalie), Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Mark, you're the only person I've ever known to use the word "squiffy" apart from my grandma after a glass of sherry.

Greg, Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My grandmother used to say 'quizzy niffy' and we all thought it meant squiffy, but it didn't, it meant nosy or something. But I preferred the idea that it meant squiffy.

Nick, Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I knock about with a strange set, Greg. We drink nothing but sherry, with spoonfuls of sugar stirred in in honour of E. Nesbit. Bung-ho!!

Fucking fuck, and you accuse *me* of being with the drunks. The wedding happened Saturday, and somewhere on film is me dancing Strip- The-Willow and The Grand Old Duke of York. And you'll NEVER FIND IT. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 30 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've been away for a week, so I'm doing it now.
