I just started reading a book about twins, incidentally, and apparently left-handedness occurs more than twice as often in twins (in one twin -- the other is usually a righty) as it does among single babies? There's speculation that some left-handed people were one member of a twin-set in which the other fetus didn't survive -- something that apparently happens more than I, at least, ever considered.

The whole fetus-in-twin thing is just one more incredibly surreal outcome, apparently.

That's something else the book mentioned! That one person can have two blood types, having absorbed the first one along with other material from the non-viable fetus.
