Stuff that just doesn't work deserves to be destroyed, right?

Graham, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

So having had the worst week ever combined with getting up before 9am for the first time in ages and the computer (Adobe Premier + Miro DV Tools + Windows 98) being unutterable nonsense unable to do simple tasks, and the teacher thinking this was perfectly acceptable behaviour.

Oh god I get this all the time....

I broke the 2/4 button off my toaster last night cos it wouldn't work properly. Jesus it was annoying. I had to be ultra industrious and grill the third slice of toast. The whole episode seriously affected my efforts to have sausage and toast ready simultaneously.

Ronan, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

2/4 button?

RickyT, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Plus my [fortunately empty] fury was directed at a gorgeous ickle Sony Video Walkman that was doing its job perfectly, probably because it looked easy to break. Who-o-why do they make PCs out of metal?

Ronan likes his toast cooked to unconventional time signatures.

Yeah generally I go with 4 to the floor toast but me and the guys have been in the Kitchen quite a while and we're just letting the whole creative process wash over us. There's really more of an edge to the kind of toast we're producing these days, and I think people are going to really respond to it.

I meant the button which changes it from 2 of the eh.......toasting areas being hot, to all 4 of them being hot.

Ronan, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Feel the toast vibe.

Emma, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah man, grill on.

RickyT, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan.... TURN IT UP TO 11!

katie, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

2/4 button

Two step garage toast, bling toast even.

Anna, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Pah......you don't know about my toast.

Ronan, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

There are no taost haterz here

Anna at home, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

We just don't like you raking toast crumbs.

(I think the toast / rave / garage gag has now officially died).

Emma, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It was fun while it lasted.

Ronan, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

So glad that post got in before Emma's, it actually makes both of them make more sense in that order.

(And stoped me making one bad taost comment too many

Anna, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

er, this is jam hot?

Alan T, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Although, Alan's made me laugh lots, better judgement aside.

Anna, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

better judgement aside = "and so did dr vick"

Alan T, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan likes his toast cooked to unconventional time signatures.

What's so unconventional about 2/4? Ronan needs to start rocking the 5/4 or 7/8 button.

Dan Perry, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

RONAN : DIRTY SWASHBUCKLER OF THE NUDE LADIES PLEASURE

mike hanle y, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Matt Fallaize, Wednesday, 8 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
