new 90210 vs. old 90210

Start this thread in a few years when 90210 has been around for more than...oh, half a season?

how long do you thnk it'll be around? 3 season?

another friend on the matter:
Beverly Hills, 90210 was like
groundbreaking
this show is nothing original and no different from the 8,457 other teen dramas
that are on the CW
besides gossip girl
which is a fantastic show

i think the real problem here is Shenae Grimes as the main character (Annie). i mean, what an annoying main character.

I only watched one and a half episodes of this due to how annoying she is.

i have never seen the new one, mostly because i remember so much about the old one (and occasionally watch re-runs on the soap network) that the very idea of a new one-- trying to re-ignite a franchise that started many things on TV and should be left alone as an artifact-- seems repugnant.

Gossip Girl is good with two other people and a bottle of Andre. otherwise, very boring.
