I DJed an art opening last night and my girlfriend talked to some guy at the bar for 3 hours straight, directly in my line of vision. Afterwards she got his number and gave him a very big hug, also right in front of me. She said he might have a job for her and that I was ridiculous for thinking there was something between them (crucially she didn't actually do the work of convincing me but simply stated this). Is it possible to handle this well?

I passed it I'd say, just about.

I was going to post on that thread about joking in exams. It was a media tech exam which basically means computer theory and the last question was a series of abbreviations.

Number 12 was WIPO, and I didn't know it so raving wit that I am I put down "Well I passed, ok?". Two more to go.

the last thing i handled badly: last night i left the Nicolette gig before she finished as i wanted to get the last Silverlink home. i walked to Camden Road and saw that the train was four minutes away. then the announcer announced it was delayed by eight minutes so rather than wait on the platform in the cold i decided to get some food, figuring i'd have enough time. tried one place but preparing the food would take too long. went to another and made an order but they took ages and the guy in front of me didn't have enough money for his. realising i was now probably going to miss the train i cancelled my order (much to the shop guy's annoyance, already stoked up by aforementioned guy lacking sufficient funds for chicken and chips) and ran back to the station, getting onto the platform just as the last train home pulled away. i was really angry, in spite of the trivial nature of this situation in the wider scheme. but i should've handled it better all the same.
