This is funnier written than it is spoken actually because of the weird punctuation.

but that's how he sez it. the Northwestern drama dept taught the value of the pregnant pause!

The sentence kind of makes it seem as though he yells TALKS though, where as I recall it being more exasperated, less forceful.

the line always cracks me up, the decibels go up if it's not quite a shout.

His reading of "I oughta kill you right now" to Zaius -- one can't even choose the right italics or caps for that.

I watched all 5 around new year's day when some cable channel had a marathon, and #4 really is good, probably better than #1, if #1 didn't have the first-seen (and seen young) advantage.

totally... him falling on his knees, that image of the buried statue of liberty... so awesome!

i wonder if at any point during his career filmmakers decided to stop casting CH in anything with a twist ending, because they knew he'd make the final scene so crazy and memorable that everyone would talk about it and it would just be spoiler city.

kind of a shame we never got a Heston/Shyamalan joint, actually.

I figured that was coming! OK, we don't eat apes, and claim to love animals when they ain't dinner. (xp) Anyway, I don't think talking animal dolls have much of a history pre-1960s.
