anthony, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

at work a 'tasteful' teal background.

at home a picture i took of the 253 bus northbound at clapton pond, with a small boy in the distance beating a broken umbrella into the ground. a reduced version with a section cut out currently forms part of the front page of Surface Vs Depth

gareth, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I used to have Steven Seagal in his traffic cop uniform from Exit Wounds but now close season optimism has dictated that I have Stephen Clemence, Les Ferdinand, Steffen Iversen and Sergei Rebrov. I suspect that outrage at early season form will mean this will be replaced by September.

Jonnie, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the sexy Genet photo with the open shirt and the tight trousers in front of the leather bound book cases. LAst Month was a Hirst Dot painting.

anthony, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I made a tasteful "hundreds of tiny swastikas" design for my computer screen, it was pretty sharp. Now I'm back to blank greenness tho'.

duane, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I don't do wallpaper, but considered a pine forest for one wall to make kitchen into Virtual Vietnamese Restaurant.

However I have a VERY LARGE Felix Gonzalez-Torres poster in my living room.

suzy, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I told you already, a mental picture of Dave Q

maryann, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

suzy . Can i move to your house.

anthony, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've just changed it. For months until yesterday it was a children's poem about three kittens making a racket and annoying their dad. One of the illustrations is a kitten banging a drum, which became the logo of the Postcard record label. Today, my wallpaper is a painting called the Swinger by Andrew Wyeth.

Madchen, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

maryann - can i move out of your house?

duane, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have a photo of a female AS Roma fan wearing a lion's head waving a AS Roma scarf. It looks very strange, elegant and cool.

Omar, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i want a copy of that image omar.

anthony, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Omar, why, no Boredoms? Neu!? DJ Assault? ;-)
I used to have a picture of myself. I loved hugging my iMAC.
My Warhol mouse pad was given to my by a friend.

nathalie (nathalie), Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Right now, its a close up picture of the sun in blue. Some of my other ones are from explodingdog.com and Johnny, The Homocidal Maniac.

bnw, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Homo-cidal? Er...homicidal.

bnw, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nor, it appears, am I smart enough to insert links properly. In my defence, I got distracted by someone asking where in the library we keep our newspapers (in the fiction room - natch)

jamesmichaelward, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The Manics, circa Gold Against the Soul.

Ally, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Mike Hanle y, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Mike Hanle y, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

On my PC wallpaper is a picture of a baby tapir. My walls are almost entirely blank.

Tom, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

On my wallpaper (albeit on the flipside) are my walls.

(Of course since I am Angry Minimalist Statement Guy I have no wallpaper...)

mark s, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hey, do you think if Georges Perec was alive and well and living in ILE, then he'd be asking what's underneath your wallpaper? I'm sure he wrote something about that. And something about teaspoons.

jamesmichaelward, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What is the proper name for a baby tapir?

Emma, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

anthony - where'd youget the genet pic? Mine - a BUffy cast from 2nd series.

Geoff, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

A picture of Kogepan looking particularly distressed. Radiohead's little mascot is such a lightweight in comparison.

Nicole, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

viva le kogepan

Mike Hanle y, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My PC wallpaper is this...

jel wallpaper

Don't have wallpaper on the walls, they are painted a light lilac colour.

jel, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nothing on the computer.

No wallpaper at home, 2 large abstract paintings my parents bought in late 60's and were going to discard, framed one-sheet of Barbara Steele in Black Sunday, framed pic of Marc Bolan.

Sean, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Currently on my computer, the Powerpuff Girls desktop picture from cartoonnetwork.co.uk, or the cartoon from the sleeve of We Love The City by Hefner. Previously it was an X-ray of said computer, but decided it was a bit sad.

Graham, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

from a genet sight of course.
i can send you a copy.

anthony, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have the default Windows wallpaper, since it's too difficult to work out how to change it. I only did 3 years of computing at university, I know nothing about computers.

Ally C, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

some Javier Bardem nudie shots

Arthur, Tuesday, 31 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Here is my wonderful new PC wallpaper.

Johnathan, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have the shittiest screensaver (from the iBook repertoire) and therefore need someone to tell me what to do to grab something different. Am a complete dunderhead with anything HTML-related. Any lessons or suggestions?

suzy, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

seven months pass...
now a trent reznor theme, and a screen saver that has the word eviscerate rolling around the screen

Queen G, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, it's a soothing blue-green underwater scene with plants and sand, and there's this, uh, gold ring sitting on the sand and um... must change the wallpaper now.... *slinks away*

Kim, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sherman film still picture. The one where she's one the road facing away from the camera and looking at what's approaching.

helen, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Don't fret, dear Kim. I have concept art of Mordor from the film on mine. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Katie!

(Don't worry, I usually have so many windows open that I barely ever see it)

Graham, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've got the dead-thing-in-the-chair from Alien on my PC, which scares my mum.

DG, Sunday, 3 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)
