i'm having a problem and non of these sticks or balms work. they just goop. sometimes i like vaseline. but wtf. i need advice.

I don't think vaseline is actually supposed to be that good for chapped lips unfortunately. I had really bad ones recently and had success with Alba organics lip balm applied liberally and often. Apparently, leaving them alone and letting them heal naturally is the best thing. Also, continued use of balms and moisturisers stop lips from producing their own healing agents.

that's what i've heard. i got some carmex recently. goops on me. i've actually had some luck with lipstick-like products, as opposed to balms -- the consistency isn't as sticky.
