New creepy answers.

Tom, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

oh you're just mad no one made you a tape, mr. grinch.

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

by the way, i don't do "theme" tapes or whatever, so there's no overarching vision here. i choose mosly on what is sitting on top of the stereo at the time of tape making. (also 3/4 of my cd's are still in washington.)

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I think she'll like that. Tapes are the only thing she can play currently, so I'm sure she'll be grateful.

Alix, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nice tape Mr H. Will you do me one?

RickyT, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

yes. i mentioned on dg's thread that i am in a tape making mood, so anyone who wants one email me yr addy off board.

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Cor wot a TRETE I will look forward to it! NB do not expect Rick to do you a tape in return *ahem* Moonshake *ahem*. Is the My Bloody Valentine song as good as the one that I like (when yr awake yr still in a dream or something along those hippy lines)? I like the sound of the unprounounceable song.

Sarah, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

sarah, the mbv song is TRIPHOP. nah, not really. you know the beat from madonna's "justify my love"? it's that, overlaid with spooooooooky guitar noises.

wait, that's...creepy.

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The Acen song will be good cos it has an exclamation mark = automatically good++!

Sarah, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Of the songs I know 11 are good and only 1 is rub!

Tom, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

which is rubbish tom? (i'm guessing ar kane...)

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

No AR Kane is good. I will not say which is rub in case it prejudices my housemate into liking the dreadful thing.

People who get Jess' tapes could do a C90Go, you know.

Tom, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

a fine idea.

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I will do one!!! It will be GRATE!

Sarah, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A fine comp, it is. But the first part of the second side will make her even more GOTH than before, and wampiredom will be the end result yet again.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Is it the Cocteau Twins track then?

RickyT, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

No. The Cocteau Twins track is likely to be awful but I've not heard it.

Tom, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I SHALL BITE YOUR NECKZOR!!!!!!

Evil Sarah, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

that was my second guess.

al green in secretly goth/working for the devil shockah!

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

cor blimey I only know the Frankie Goes to Hollywood song.

jel --, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Did you have a theme in mind? It's very summery. The other month I made a mix CD (for Midsummer Night Burn). The mentalist that I am (apparently) I put "Under Your Thumb" by the Stones with "Fuck the Pain Away" by Peaches. The recipients didn't get the message. Now I am making one for Alex/Clobber T. It'll be a triple CD set, I fear.

cuba libre (nathalie), Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I believe jess has alleged that people hate him on ILE so many times now that he actually believes it. NOBODY HATES YOU JESS! Your mixtape is ace. Do you do CDs too? If so, I'll mail ya. Also, Sugar Hiccup is poss. THE best Cocteaux song, Tom.

Jeff W, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

jeff, i think EVERYONE hates me! i'm a paranoid depresso, for chrissakes!

cd's i does do, but i am still waiting to hook up my burner.

jess, Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You're just fishing for compliments, Jess. And we're not going to fall for it. ;-)

cuba libre (nathalie), Thursday, 16 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
