have any of you ever posted really demented shit on youtube to see what happens?

eg I've started finding songs and posting really weird overly personal anecdotes in the comments. the responses are pretty amazing. is there a name for this (besides "being unemployed")

eg if you go to page 2 of this track:

Why are you guys so down about this festival? I would beg to differ that his is a so-called "white trash" festival, because every time I have gone there, I always run into physicians, college professors, geneticists, corporate execs, and clergy members. One time when I was there, I ran into a nobel prize winning poet laureate. She told me that she was there to hear some "dope rhymes" and perhaps get inspired for her next poetry book. i've only just seen the CC option "transcribe audio", which is in beta and well it really shows. It's so bad it's hilarious.

That CC option is mainly so google can increase the accuracy of targeted advertising for youtube vids through keywords and thus charge more for ads. Nothing to do with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community really, for which, as you say, it's usually totally useless. Might be a driver for better automated speech recognition eventually tho.

I may sound like a nerd for saying this, but I wonder if Syd would have liked The Legend of Zelda games if he ever got to play them. Since he always had a fascination for fairies, elves and fairytale-like settings and stories, I'm pretty sure he would have enjoyed the series a lot.

This is called the Doppler effect and can be observed bin all types of waves, including light". Of course, there was no moving train there. But imagine the air volume pushed away by those imense concert speakers and passing by the amateur device filming. In my opinion it was either the general sound or Eddie's monitor speaker that was distorted because of the Doppler effect. This caused the impression that the guitar is out of tune.

Comments claiming that someone's old relative was the actual whistler on the song while someone else got to perform it on TV, concerts, etc. First reaction "yeah that tracks, it was the music industry in the 60's after all" but then they start claiming that he also did:
