I heart symbol Katrin Cartlidge. I wish she had got killed later in From Hell.

apparently she was told that she would never make it in Hollywood films unless she fixed her teeth.

looks like we have her to ourselves, Dave.

three months pass...
and now she is dead: http://film.guardian.co.uk/features/featurepages/0,4120,791320,00.html

This is sad. She was a great actor who never really seems to have received the recognition she deserved.

This is very, very sad - Naked is one of my favorite films. Underrated actress to say the least. Very sad.

Claire Dolan is a draining, brilliant film. This is a great loss for British acting.

Shit, that really sucks. Serious, she was fantastic

What actually happened? The Guardian obit didn't really say much and some other web thing I read (The Telegraph on-line?) said she'd been taken ill on Sunday with pneumonia and developed septicemia and died soon after. Did she suffer from bad health or drug problems or something?

Also let's not forget Michael 'Boon' Elphick.

or indeed Leo McKern, thread on whom remains unanswered grrr!

Come on, he was in Help! "Go - to - the - window!"

Katrin Cartlidge was, as they say round these parts, ROWRRR.

Yeah - 'pneumonia'? I've got that in the same bracket as 'consumption' or something...and how does someone just 'get' blood poisoning ?
