they' re re releasing Apocalypse Now now even longer. SHould this be done ? ANy objections?

Here's another reason why Mick Farren is cool - you know how when old rock albums get reissued they all have like an hour of extra "unreleased" boring crap? well when the Deviants 1st album got reissued recently he was insisting on making it *even shorter*, cutting off 2 songs he thought were crappy. Lots of movies would benefit from that approach, I reckon. (Not this one, although I BET making it longer isn't gonna make it better)

I like the movie. The book is better, despite dodgy racist attitudes which are perfectly in keeping with the time period but not the type of thing I like to see celebrated in my books.

I like the theme of people going into the jungle and sort of becoming swallowed up by it, psychologically. Its interesting and well played out on the bigscreen. Good HArrison Ford Cameo too.
