Victor Navasky and The Nation invite you to The Nation's fifth annual seminar cruise. Setting sail from New York City on October 22, the Holland America's MS Rotterdam will cruise through New England and Canada on a fall foliage tour.
You'll be joining a distinguished group of speakers who will all participate in a series of lectures, seminars and conversations over the course of the voyage. Confirmed speakers so far include Katha Pollitt, Howard Zinn, Calvin Trillin, George McGovern, Patricia J. Williams, Laura Flanders and Jules Feiffer.
They'll join Nation publisher Victor Navasky and editor Katrina vanden Heuvel in what has always been both an enlightening exchange of ideas and a no-hassle, relaxing vacation.
The Nation launched its seminar cruise series in 1998 to raise critical funds to help offset the magazine's chronic annual deficit. It's quickly grown into a popular excursion. We know cruises aren't for everyone... [etc]
