I couldn't find a thread, which seems unlikely, so apologies if I've missed one... I've been reading loads of reviews of internet radio sets priced between £100 and £200. Every one of them seems have major fortes and major glitches combined. Like the look of the Pure Evoke (and like my DAB radio from them), but the interface is clearly a nightmare. Any personal recommendations? Most important features for me are general realiability in wifi mode (in the States now, so DAB no use, and not fussed about FM) and easy use of Listen Again (Reciva-compatible sets seem good for this?) Streaming audio files from computer (iTunes etc.) is fine, but not the priority. Thanks in advance...

If you have 5Ghz at home, try to find one that does 5GHz.

Personally, I use a Roku Soundbridge for Internet radio, but I don't use its wireless.

Er, er, I'm stuck already... 5Ghz, I don't know whether I do or not.... would that be a by-country or by-State thing?... What happens if you don't 'match' Ghz? Also, how do you use an internet radio without using its wireless? (sorry!)

Old wireless is 2.4GHz. New wireless, like modern brick-style Airports, do 2.4GHz or 5GHz. 5GHz performs a lot better than 2.4GHz, at least in my home.
Also, how do you use an internet radio without using its wireless?
I have the Roku hooked up to a 5GHz WAP. I don't use the internal Roku wireless because it's not 5GHz and it doesn't do WPA2, and I'm not about to find myself on the hook for some asinine torrenting neighbor's downloads.

Ah, I think I see... the gear I've been looking at doesn't have internal wireless. Basically (I may be spouting crap, tell me if I am): I just want to hook up a set to my cable (Comcast, when it finally gets installed) wireless router.
