Is there already a thread about how a series of Terry Goodkind fantasy books has been turned into the fairly high budget tv show Legend of the Seeker by Sam Raimi and a lot of the Xena production folks?
It's kinda cool, but also pretty awful. High points are the gyro-copter pilot from Road Warrior as a good wizard, a white robed Confessor woman who wears a skimpy outfit, and subtle D&D references that made me laugh out loud.

I don't believe for one second that no one else on this forum is watching this garbage.

Seems like total HI DERE bait.

Flipping channels today... what is the girl from Whale Rider doing on this?!

My roommate LOVES this show. LOVES it. Watches the dvds multiple times.
Joe Loduca's Xena-isms are all over the score, unfortunately

Also, as I think I'm in this show's target demo, I should state that I don't like fantasy epics taking places in faraway places in long-ago times(i.e. Medieval Britain) where the principals have 21-Century Neutral/Midwestern American accents, even if the actors don't in real life. If you're deliberately trying to up the hottness factor with your hott-ass actors/actresses, you let the non-American ones keep their natural speaking voices.
