wow, I seem to plunged in ILE at the right moment with all this anglomania going on .

if this would be a firbank vs. saki I would say the first. I've always seen saki more as a forerunner of roald dahl (who I occasionally like) while firbank is the father of joe orton.

there is a beautiful story by saki about a boy and werewolf or something which I found very touching at the time.

sorry, with the dahl connection i mean mostly the non-reginald stories off course (althugh they sometimes mix) like the werewolf/boy story.
