STEVE ZAHN

He's done probably more garbage movies than good ones, but Steve Zahn is never not memorable. The real choice comes down to drama Zahn or comedy Zahn, and then picking out his best role. He's so astoundingly great in Riding in Cars with Boys I might have a hard time picking anything else.

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 21 March 2009 23:04 (sixteen years ago)

Either That Thing You Do! or Joy Ride.

Eazy, Sunday, 22 March 2009 03:08 (sixteen years ago)

I'm voting That Thing You Do, but overlook Out Of Sight at your peril, as he steals every scene that he doesn't have to share with Don Cheadle.

audible laughter every time steve tries to say something to heidi

max, Wednesday, 29 July 2009 15:39 (sixteen years ago)

I was watching that last night and thinking "I wonder if there's anyone who doesn't like Steve Zahn who's met him in person, because he seems like the kind of guy doesn't care if he meets you or not but if he does he will go out of his way to be nice to you."

And then I thought "Jeezus! How many babies is Heidi Klum going to have anyway?!"

i have good memories of Safe Men, but it has been a while, and it is a prime example of the dreaded 90s Indie Crime Movie. still, steve zahn and sam rockwell dicking around for a movie, you can do worse.

chartres (goole), Thursday, 7 January 2010 21:26 (sixteen years ago)

Safe Men was a let down after I'd been told how great it was. If I didn't have high expectations going in, I'm sure I would have liked it more.

apparently it was a "minor commercial success" according to wikipedia, which is cheering

directed and written by the guy who wrote the fugitive, another sweet thriller
