May I say you are my HERO for ALL TIME for making this poll?

And that even on an obscure subject I am sad that a song got left out? ('Archimedes' bcz it got me to know that Archimedes is a fucking badass.)

i have deep childhood memories of the fat boys and of the infinity song.

"usually accompanied by dancing squares"

Sometimes it wasn't?

Haha, my first thought was "Where's the Archimedes song?"

Don't know what I'm voting for, but now I'll have "I night the stars were glowing/ II hearts were overflowing" stuck in my head all afternoon.

ditto, although i am also disappointed by the lack of the Mathnet theme song as an option. really wanna hear "8% of my love" right now. xpost

These were all that was on the wiki page, so any absentees are the math-hating public's fault.

The Fat Boys song doesn't ring any bells. But the title music is worth a nod too:

Here's Archimedes:

"Nine, Nine, Nine" is pretty catchy, but I gotta go with "8% of My Love," which still makes me giggle. "Ghost of a Chance" totally scared me as a kid.

Between "8% of My Love" and "Ghost of a Chance". Was this the greatest children's TV show ever?

"Ghost of a Chance" doesn't hold up quite as well but it totally spooked me at the time too.

this totally set the tone for Bill Nye's parodies of cool songs. why isnt there a working youtube of his reptile song "Touch Me, I'm Slick"?

"Nine Nine Nine" blew my 8-year-old mind.

how do i not remember the kid n play one?!

ya me neither! which is weird cause my brother would watch House Party and Class Act nearly every day at the time so i feel like i should remember if they turned up on SquareOne.

Roz, Monday, 30 March 2009 12:18 (sixteen years ago)

Does anyone remember the Morrissey parody on Bill Nye, "The Faster You Push Me, the Farther I Get"?
