I give up. How could anyone follow 50 blogs closely enough to have an informed opinion on this?

except for my one or two crazy AGGREGATOR OMG ALL THE FUCKING TIME RSS MY GOGGLE RAEDER TUMBLR YOWZA bros, most people i know just follow like three websites total on the regular.

The one whose link shows recent activity on my part is 538, so that is how I vote.

do not regularly read any of this, will vote for "conscience of a liberal" based on name alone.

also, shoulda stuck a fluxblog option in imho.

It's interesting that many if not most of the top blogs are extensions of established media outlets or already well-known commentators (CNN, ABC, Krugman, NYT, etc). I suppose it's not surprising, but the vision of a near future in which everyone was getting their news from dudes in their underwear posting from their parent's basements turned out to be unfounded.

Man, that was so disappointing. I put it all in an Excel spreadsheet, and then I was going to sort alphabetically and paste it into here. But then I got distracted by the rest of the internet, and didn't paste it in alphabetically. A minute later I started a thread on the Mod request forum asking if it was possible to change the order of things.

I must vote with my heart over my conscience. The Corner it is.

don't read 538 any more. therefore, threat level. had no idea it was so popular.

When I used to read the Consumerist regularly, I had a dream about how balls Best Buy was, and at this point I decided it was influencing my subconscious too much to continue reading it.
