Me: Have you seen the shirt I left on the sofa?
Girlfriend: I put it in the washer this morning.
Me: You did take my new digital camera out of the pocket, didn't you?
GF: What camera?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Let's hope it still works once it's dried out then, eh?

New disastrous laundry answers please.
What's the worst thing you've ever washed?

Just how small and light was this digital camera? I'm sure I'd notice anything more substantial than, ooh, a box of matches when I'm putting things in the machine.

I'll be taking the latest load out any minute now. I'll let you know if I accidentally left my record deck in a pocket.

Funnily enough, it's about as small and light as a box of matches. http://www.firebox.com/i/espionhpfeature_image.jpg

When I was at school, my mum washed my shirt and in the pocket was a disc with my GCSE IT coursework on it (Teech: You should have backed up your work etc)

Mitch - I live in hope that it takes pictures like that guys. I suspect it had more to do with his desparate attempts to dry it out rather than the dunking it got.
At least I know that if I get bored of the camera I can boil it and bake it for interesting effects.
